 Katie Burkle

katieKatie trained with the Olga Dunn school of Dance for twleve years, performing exclusively with the Studio's Junior Co. She then studied and graduated with a with a BA degree in developmental psychology from Suffol University in Boston. Her years in Boston were spent with college and continuing her dance.  In 2010, Katie joined the faculty of the Dunn School and also began performing with the Dunn Dance Co. She most recently danced at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center and the Founders' Theater during the summer of 2011.

 

Hope St. Jock

hopeHope St. Jock has studied dance with the Olga Dunn School since the age of 6. She immersed herself in all the different styles offered and began choreographing at age 14. Her choreography is now a popular and requested part of the Dunn Studios. It has been shown at the 10x10 Festival in Pittsfield, Summerfests, Lecture Demos, annual programming, and more.  Hope received her College Associate's Degree with honors in Early Childhood Education in January 2015. She is also a member of the Olga Dunn Dance Company and has danced with that group on the stages of the Mahaiwe, Founder's Theatre, Barrington Stage's Main Stage, the Colonial Theatre and throughout the tri-state area.

 

Maggie Pelton

maggie peltonMaggie is a Summer Faculty member for the Olga Dunn Dance Co. Maggie grew up in the New Jersey Ballet Company. Her studies expanded to other disciplines while attending the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and the Martha Graham and Jose Limon schools in New York City. After receiving her BFA in dance from the Juilliard School and a scholarship from the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, she was asked to join Ailey II which performed all across the United States and the Caribbean. Ms. Pelton had the great honor of being the last female chosen by Alvin Ailey himself to join his first company, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre which tours internationally. While living in southern California and now Nashville, Maggie has danced in television commercials and music videos and has gone on to teach, choreograph, and act as a consultant for dance and fitness in various projects. She is currently an adjunct professor at Belmont University in the College of Visual and Performing Arts and is a Zumba fitness instructor at several local gyms. Maggie was instrumental in starting the Cookeville Leisure Services School of Dance through workshops and classes teaching Ballet, Pointe, Modern and Jazz since 1997. She is kept very busy at home with her three children.

 

Julie Webster

julieJulie received a BA from Bard College, majoring in both theatre and dance with a focus on performance and flamenco under the tutelage of Aileen Passloff. Upon graduation she received the school's prestigious award for Excellence in Performance. Her credits include: Olga Dunn Dance Company; Celia in As You Like It (Tennesse/Shakespeare Company); Yvonne in the Ladies Man; Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream; Anne de Cornault in Kerfol; Anne Seton in My Own Stranger; Smeraldina in the Servent of Two Masters (Los Angeles Foundation Theatre); The Song of Songs, an original dance opera; Sita in the Ramayana (Bard College); Mother Jack in Jack of the Submission; the title role in Antigone; Marlene in the Bitter Tears of Petra Van Kant; as well as numerous faculty dance pieces. Julie co-founded and performed with Hi Lo Jack & Co., a group dedicated to exploring movement and theater in New York and Low Angeles. She currently lives in the Berkshires.

 

Cheryl Moore

moorecCheryl is a Summer Faculty member for the Olga Dunn Dance Co. Cheryl Moore was a founding member of the Olga Dunn Dance Co. She is currently Chair of the Art Deparment at South Kent School in Connecticut. Her artwork has won awards and been exhibited throughout the Northeast.
